According to media reports, Sundowns had to folk out a whopping R57 million for the Colombian striker.

HOW MANY FOREIGN INTERNATIONALS DO SUNDOWNS HAVE?

The Brazilians have come under huge criticism for bringining foreign international, especially from South America to the PSL.

Of course, some have failed dismally while others flourished under different coaches who led Sundowns.

As things stand, Sundowns only have FOUR players registered as foreign internationals for the current campaign.

And they are Arthur Sales, Marcelo Allende, Nuno Santos, and Miguel Reisinho who is from Portugal.

This means Sundowns will be able to register Leon without any issues for the current transfer window and play him.

WHO IS BRAYAN LEON?

Brayan Leon is a 25-year-old striker who was born and bred in Colombia. He turned professional in 2020.

He has played 217 matches, scored 48 goals and provided 30 assists since then, according to Transfermarkt.

At Independiente Medellín, Leon played 141 matches, scored 33 goals and registered 17 assists.

Discipline appears to be an issue for Leon though as he has collected a whopping 69 yellow cards and three red cards in his career.
