Kaizer Chiefs return to action this afternoon when they travel to the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale for a crunch league clash against Golden Arrows.

The Glamour Boys will be under the guidance of Cavin Johnson for the first time following the sacking of Molefi Ntseki as head coach.

Chiefs have picked up just 11 points from their opening nine DStv Premiership matches. Golden Arrows on the other hand a side in rich form.

The KwaZulu-Natal based side have picked up 17 points from their opening eight matches. More impressive is the fact that only Mamelodi Sundowns have scored more goals than Arrows so far this season.

“I don’t know,” Amakhosi legend Lucas Radebe said when asked if Johnson is Amakhosi’s solution as quoted by FarPost.

“To be honest, for me, I’m not sure anymore because I mean this is a big brand, Kaizer Chiefs. And there are a lot of expectations for the club.

“Everybody knows it is a massive club that needs a big push. It needs character and attitude to get back to that level again.”
