Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki says as the club, they are playing to win the league and not just to stay in the DStv Premiership.

Ntseki was speaking ahead of Amakhosi’s visit to SuperSport United at the New Polokwane Stadium on Wednesday night.

Now, Ntseki said collecting three points is all that’s on their minds, adding that being in a good position will enchance Chiefs’ chances of competing for the league.

Ntseki said as club, Chiefs are only playing to win the league and nothing else, and he wants his charges to show that on the pitch.

He added that they will only focus on the MTN8 second leg semi-final against Mamelodi Sundowns after the SuperSport United game.

KAIZER CHIEFS ONLY PLAY TO WIN THE LEAGUE – NTSEKI

“Three points is everything, because winning and getting maximum points will also put us in a good place to compete in the league,” Ntseki told the club’s media team.

“As Kaizer Chiefs, we are only playing to win the league, we are not playing to just be in the league,” he said.

“The players and everybody in the technical team are fully aware the game against SuperSport United is a very important game, one we have to play to finish, win that game, and then prepare for Sundowns.”
