KAIZER CHIEFS’ BEST CASE SCENARIO IN CAF CONFED CUP
Kaizer Chiefs just need avoid defeat away to Zamalek in order to advance; meaning either a draw or a win will be enough.
And that’s because both Zamalek and Al Masry are hot on their heels and still have a chance to qualify.
But should Chiefs draw, they would move to 11 points and maintain their top spot, and both Zamalek and Al Masry would not catch them.

WHAT’S THE WORST CASE SCENARIO FOR AMAKHOSI?
The worst case scenario for Chiefs is if they lose to Zamalek and Al Masry beat Zesco United.
That will be the end of the road for Chiefs as they will move third on the Group D log with both Zamalek and Al Masry progressing.
A win for Al Masry will take them to 10 points, equal on points with Chiefs, and goal difference will come into play.
And that’s because CAF uses H-2-H first when teams are tied on points, but both Chiefs and Al Masry tied on H-2-H having won by a 2-1 scoreline against each other.
As things stand, Chiefs are on +2 goal difference while Al Masry are on 0 but have scored more goals (7) than Amakhosi (6).
