Kaizer Chiefs will make their first ever appearance at the TransferRoom Live Summit this year.

This year’s TransferRoom Live Summit will be held on Monday, 22 December in Rabat, Morocco.

Now, Amakhosi follow in the footsteps of Mamelodi Sundowns who have attended the past two summits.

Sundowns have seen the benefits of TransferRoom Live Summit having managed to sign the likes of Marcelo Allende and Tashreeq Matthews through it.

TransferRoom Live Summit’s main objective is NOT about the buying and selling of players.

It more about strengthening cross-border collaboration within the football industry among the clubs’ decision-makers.

Chiefs are expected to be represented by both Kaizer Motaung Jr who’s the club’s Sporting Director as well as Marketing Director Jessica Motaung.

WILL AMAKHOSI BENEFIT JUST LIKE SUNDOWNS?

The previous TransferRoom Live Summits have proved to be beneficial to participating teams across the globe.

And with Chiefs eager to return to the old glory days, this could be one of the right steps to take.

Earlier this year, the Glamour Boys ended a 10-year trophy drought but their struggles on the pitch continue.

This despite bringing in a number of quality players to reinforce their squad at the start of the current campaign.
