As always after a given transfer window, Orlando Pirates have new players. When can we expect to see them on the grass?

NEW ORLANDO PIRATES SIGNINGS

As announced by the Sea Robbers last month, the new arrivals are Thalente Mbatha (23) from SuperSport United, and Thabiso Lebitso (28) from Chippa United.

“Joining Orlando Pirates is a significant milestone in my career, and I’m eager to make a meaningful contribution to the team’s success,” Lebitso told the club.

“I’m thrilled to be here and can’t wait to start playing. I see this as a golden opportunity and intend to make the most of it,” Mbatha added.

Additionally, Tshegofatso Mabasa (27) has returned from a loan spell at Moroka Swallows.

JOSE RIVEIRO ON THEIR PROGRESS

In the meantime, Pirates have a match on Saturday.

The Buccaneers face Motsepe Foundation Championship’s Crystal Lake in the Nedbank Cup last 32.

“Hopefully we can see the new players soon, not that we’re looking at the game as some game to test things, but we won’t have Miguel Timm for example, so we’ll see who will take that opportunity for example,” Pirates coach Jose Riveiro said via iDiskiTimes.
