Pirates set to welcome back key players for Chippa clash
The Orlando Pirates team is expected to be bolstered by returning players for Tuesday night’s encounter against Chippa United.
Pirates’ upcoming away game against Chippa is the Buccaneers’ third in the league this season – and fourth in all competitions – as they hit the halfway mark of a busy opening month of the new season.

Ahead of this important game, Pirates have released a statement hinting at the fact that more players should be available for selection.
“Pirates could welcome a few players back from injury, with a few members of the club’s playing personnel making key strides towards returning from action,” a statement read. “Midfielder Katlego Otladisa overcame a minor knock and was an unused sub on Saturday, while Miguel Timm is among those nearing full fitness after returning to training, along with the likes of Kabelo Dlamini and Vincent Pule.”

PIRATES-CHIPPA HEAD TO HEAD
First-half goals from Kabelo Dlamini and Thembinkosi Lorch handed the Buccaneers a 2-0 victory on their last visit to Gqebera as they avenged a shock home defeat from earlier in the season.
This was the Soweto Giants’ seventh consecutive away win against the Eastern Cape-based outfit, and their 14th win overall in 20 league clashes between these two teams.
Chippa have achieved four victories of their own, with stalemates in this fixture remaining few and far between.
