KAIZER CHIEFS TARGETING PITSO MOSIMANE?

Following the departure of Molefi Ntseki from Naturena, and the appointment of Cavin Johnson as an interim coach, new whispers are claiming Amakhosi could target Mosimane.

Additionally, Mosimane possibly joining Chiefs would mean a reunion with Johnson. The pair previously worked as coach and assistant at Al-Ahly in the 2020/21 season.

Meanwhile, Mosimane is facing pressure with Al-Wahda. The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach has suffered three defeats in a row: two defeats in the league by Shabab and Baniyas while also losing to Al-Jezira in the UEA League Cup quarter-finals.

A MESSAGE TO MOLEFI NTSEKI AND ARTHUR ZWANE

In the meantime, Johnso has sent a word to the departed Molefi Ntseki and Arthur Zwane.

Speaking to the club’s media after his appointment, Johnson shared a word of goodwill to Ntseki and Zwane, who has been repositioned to the development structures.

“I empathise with Coach Molefi (Ntseki) and Coach (Arthur) Zwane but, as we all know, that’s football,” he said.

“I want to say that I appreciate their hard work and the solid platform they have left that I aim to build on,” Johnson added.

Johnson’s first Chiefs test will be a trip to Golden Arrows in KwaMhlanga this Saturday at 15:30, before two home games followed by another two on the road.

  2. Cape Town Spurs, home: 8 November
  3. Orlando Pirats, home: 11 November
  4. Moroka Swallows, away: 26 November
