Rhulani Mokwena has had a incredible year as head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, and his record speaks for itself!

Mokwena was appointed as Sundowns head coach on 24 October 2022 after the management decided to dismantle the co-coaching arrangement with Manqoba Mngqithi.

In his first 365 days in charge of Sundowns, Mokwena coached 50 competitive games, and he impressively won 35 of those.

The 36-year-old mentor drew with 14, including Tuesday’s 0-0 draw against Petro de Luanda in the African Football League.

Mokwena’s only defeat, excluding penalties in Cup competitions, came in April 2023 to Stellenbosch FC in the Nedbank Cup.

Under Mokwena, Sundowns have scored a whopping 99 goals while they have conceded just 37 in those 50 games.
