Sekhukhune United may still be in the top five bracket despite their 2-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday night.

However, things are not as rosy and the pressure is piling up on their head coach Eric Tinkler.

Babina Noko ended 2025 on a bad note, but they looked solid in their 0-0 draw against Orlando Pirates last weekend.

Nonetheless, stats show that they have fallen after their rise at the start of the season when they looked impressive.

According to OptaJabu, Sekhukhune United have played 20 games across all competitions so far this season.

In their opening 10 competitive matches of the season, Tinkler’s men lost just once which is definitely impressive.

Their record reads seven wins, two draws and that one defeat in those 10 matches.

However, things have gone South in their last 10 matches as they are sitting on a single win across all competitions.

Their record reads five losses, four draws and that single victory in those 10 matches.
