The Springboks put up a united front in representing South Africa at the Rugby World Cup. Now players who belong to clubs, the Bulls and the Sharks, will have to face off against each other at this weekend’s highly anticipated United Rugby Championship derby.

The rivals will play each other on the Bulls’ home ground at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday, 2 December.

SHARKS VS BULLS: DECEMBER DERBY

The Sharks and the Bulls will go head-to-head in the game that kicks off at 15:00. The game will be broadcast on SABC Sport and SuperSport channels.

According to Rugby 365, the home side has won the last three URC games between the Sharks and the Bulls.

And the Bulls are hoping to captilise on that advantage given their losing streak in away games.

When it comes to playing on home turf, the boys in blue have won their last four home games.

Meanwhile, the Sharks are hoping to have a repeat of their February 2022 victory against the Blues at Loftus.

SPRINGBOKS PLAYERS TO FACE OFF

After wrapping up the Rugby World Cup a month ago, many players from the Springboks squad have since returned to their respective clubs.

And for many, that means resuming their rivalry on the pitch.

Here are the famous faces from the World Cup winning squad we can expect to see during the game.
