TS Galaxy have reportedly rejected Mamelodi Sundowns’ bid for rising star Puso Dithejane.

Dithejane has been making headlines as several PSL clubs have shown interest in him due to his stellar performances.

However, TS Galaxy are NOT willing to sell their attacker given that they are banned by FIFA from signing new players.

Kaizer Chiefs are also reported to be interested in re-signing the 21-year-old from the Rockets.

Furthermore, the fact that Sundowns recently paid a whopping R57 million for Colombian striker Brayan Leon, made TS Galaxy reject what they deemed a lower transfer fee for Dithejane.

TS GALAXY SAY NO TO SUNDOWNS

SABC Sport can reveal that TS Galaxy have rejected an offer from Mamelodi Sundowns for highly-rated attacker Puso Dithejane,” reads the report.

“Sources suggest this restriction has played a significant role in the club’s reluctance to entertain offers below their valuation, with Dithejane viewed internally as their most valuable asset at this stage of the season.

“Information gathered by SABC Sport also indicates that the bid tabled by Sundowns fell well short of Galaxy’s expectations – and this comes after reports from South America suggested Sundowns forked out in the region of R57-million to secure León from Independiente Medellín.”

NEW TWIST TO THE STORY AS DITHEJANE COULD MOVE TO THE US

Dithejane has been outstanding since he joined TS Galaxy from Kaizer Chiefs, and it appears Chicago Fire have also shown interest in him.

Should both TS Galaxy and Chicago Fire strike a deal, Dithejane will link up with Mbekezeli Mbokazi.

Mbokazi left Orlando Pirates for the US-based outfit just before the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
