South African Airways offering huge Voyager Miles discounts

South African Airways (SAA) has introduced a seat sale for members of its loyalty programme, Voyager.

The state-owned airline has reduced the number of miles needed by members of its loyalty programme to book tickets for flights.

VOYAGER SPECIAL OFFER

The programme’s much-anticipated JourneyBlitz Redemption Seat Sale has begun.

SAA has made many Voyager seats available exclusively for SAA-operated flights across its route network.

This means Voyager members can now book SAA flights, spending up to 85% fewer miles than usual.

VOYAGER SALE

The special offer is subject to Voyager’s terms and conditions but is available for all flights operated by South African Airways.

This promotion was launched on 1 March and will continue until 20 March 2024.

SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS

Voyager is SAA’s customer loyalty programme.

It enables frequent fliers to earn and spend miles on flights and services offered by South African Airways and partners that are aligned with the programme.  

The programme turns 30 years old this year. Hence the reason for the celebratory offer.

SAA ANNIVERSARY

The national carrier is also celebrating nine decades of existence this year and is in the midst of a 90-day birthday celebration.

It is currently offering special prices for flights as well as surprising passengers with some other initiatives.

Furthermore, the carrier is surprising some passengers with model aircraft giveaways on select South African Airways flights.

RESTARTED ROUTE

South African Airways will restart flights to a second intercontinental destination next month.

The airline will start up its popular direct flights between Johannesburg and Perth in April.  

Voyager’s offer includes flights on the airline’s son to be relaunched international route to Perth starting on April 28, 2024, with an amazing 70%-85% discount on miles redemption.
