It doesn’t look like this monkey is going to get up to any monkey business during the Chinese Year of the Monkey, which ends on 27 January 2017.
This video, filmed at Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary in Zimbabwe, has gone viral on the internet this week at the same time as people around the world celebrate Chinese New Year, which began 8 February.
Twala uploaded the video in November with this message: “That feeling when you just cannot keep your eyes open… Horace masters the power nap!”

We searched Twala’s facebook page and managed to find another video where Horace lives up to the reputation of those born in the Year of the Monkey – lively, curious, innovative and mischievous!
Twala -, a rescue and rehabilitation centre for a variety of wildlife, farm and domestic animals and birds – uploaded this ten days ago, saying: “When you’re trying to nap but your friend just won’t stop bugging you – Freddie the rescue cat and Horace the monkey at Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary…”
