Goosebumps! South Africa’s Ndlovu Youth Choir received a rip, roaring standing ovation after their America’s Got Talent 2019 audition, which – as one of the judges said – is the “biggest talent stage in the world”.

Simon Cowell said: “We’ve always been waiting for a choir like this, something we’ve never heard before. And your energy was literally bouncing off me. It was a great audition and you I’m gonna remember!”

All four judges gave a big thumbs up YES to the choir.

The Ndlovu Youth Choir said before their performance of My African Dream that their own hope and dream is to “let children around the world know that just because you’re born in poverty doesn’t mean you are poverty”.

Afterwards  one of the judges said “from the second you walked out I think the whole audience was rooting for you, and you did not disappoint. You’re giving so much hope.”

Another added: “There’s nothing more exciting than when people come from far away to this stage – and you bring your culture, and you bring your life and you share your talent…”
