After an appeal on Twitter, well-known South African filmmaker Dan Mace got 36 people from around the world, many of them South African, to help him put together a lockdown version of “arguably the happiest song in the world,” Bob Marley’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy.” He asked them to make sounds with household items like cutlery, as well as their mouths and voices. The result is classic.

Dont Worry Be Happy (Singing with the world)

I recreated ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ with 36 of you all around the world, remotely. What an awesome experience!! Thank you bru. To everyone who needs to hear it right now (I know I did!) – you are not alone and – it’s important to keep singing.
