Chiefs have already confirmed the signing of SuperSport United centre back Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, while also being thought to have signed Mduduzi Mdantsane and Given Msimango.

At the end of the previous season, Chiefs made a massive clear out, getting rid of some experienced players, some of which had not been able to lead Amakhosi to any silverware during their lengthy stays at the club. It is expected that they will also undergo a similar exodus that could see several players forced through the exit door.

After that, Chiefs invested in players who were either younger or in their prime years, like Ashley du PreezZitha KwinikaGeorge MatlouDillon Solomons and Yusuf Maart to name but a few. Now, even though the club has not officially announced the likes of Mdantsane and Mismango yet, it has been an open secret for a while now that the duo will be donning the colours of Amakhosi next season.

CHIEFS INTERESTED IN HUSSEIN

Now it does not seem like Chiefs are in the mood to stop signing players, with the latest developments suggesting that they’re interested in signing Simba SC left back Mohammed Hussein. Interestingly enough the Tanzanian international is nicknamed ‘Tshabalala’, which stems from Amakhosi legend Siphiwe Tshabalala.

The 27-year-old is regarded as one of the top left backs in Africa, with goal.com SA writer Austin Ditlhobolo claiming Chiefs are ready to bring Hussein to the club. With Chiefs just recently extending the contract of Sifiso Hlanti, they definitely need to provide competition for him as the likes of Happy Mashiane have failed to do that.
