The Drakensberg Boys Choir in KwaZulu-Natal has produced a wonderfully fun and light-hearted parody of Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’… starring not only the boys, but their teachers too.

Deidre Alcock, from the famous South African school, told SAPeople: “Our school campus is a bleak and miserable place when there are no boys around and when there are no classes or choir rehearsals taking place.

“We wrote these simple lyrics to illustrate that for our boys, being at school, rehearsing, performing in front of live audiences and living within a world heritage site in the company of friends, is what it truly means to be a Drakie.

“Enjoy our Covid-19 parody of our current lockdown situation.”
