South African music legend Johnny Clegg would have turned 67 today, 7 June 2020. In memory of his father, Jesse Clegg has shared the below video: “I’ve Been Looking”.
It’s a song that meant a lot to Jesse and his dad. It was their first collaboration, and it pays tribute to the importance of family. Father and son performed it together around the world during Johnny’s farewell tour – ‘The Final Journey’.
Jesse wrote on Facebook on Sunday: “Happy birthday dad. Love you always.”
Johnny Clegg passed away last year – on 16 July 2019 – after a long battle with cancer. Watch the video below.
