After many delays and much speculation, Miss SA organisers finally announced that they will soon reveal the Top 10 finalists.
This follows the national pageant’s recent change of ownership to the Motsepe Group of Companies, led by businessman Patrice Motsepe.
MISS SA ORGANISERS SET TO ANNOUNCE TOP 10
In an Instagram post on 14 September, Miss SA organisers announced that they would reveal the Top 10 finalists on Tuesday along with the date of the finale.
The new queen will take over from Mia Le Roux, who won the crown in August 2024.
Organisers also teased three new celebrity judges, promising to reveal their identities this week.
GEARING UP FOR MISS UNIVERSE
The new Miss SA 2025 will likely represent South Africa at the Miss Universe pageant on 21 November in Thailand.
About 130 countries will compete on the global stage, where Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig will hand over her crown.
Mozambique, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia will make their debut at the pageant.
Following Mia Le Roux’s surprise withdrawal, South Africa will return to the stage after last competing in 2023.
