ARE SHIH TZUS FRIENDLY?

Shih Tzu means “little lion” because it looks a bit like a lion.

Originally from Tibet, it’s a companion dog, not a hunter or worker.

Some stories say they used to calm lions as companions!

They’re small, about 10 inches tall and 16 pounds.

They love being with people, including strangers, and adapt well to different homes.

Apartments or big houses, they’re happy either way.

They don’t need lots of exercise but a couple of 30-minute walks make them content.
