Mark Whitehead

Capetonian Mark Whitehead, together with his fiance Kirsty Bilsland, has been backpacking through South East Asia for the last four months, and blogging about his experiences along the way. Like many have dreamt of doing, Mark and Kirsty quit their jobs in South Africa, sold their cars, packed their bags, cashed in their savings and are fulfilling their dream of travelling SE Asia for as long as their finances permit. Mark, a CA, has promised himself to never enter the corporate 'rabbit hole' again where he found out firsthand the risk of losing one's personality, friends, family and health to the corporation. For now he's passionately enjoying an overseas adventure which he gets to share with his best friend and soulmate, and capture it in a blog for the rest of us to follow and hopefully draw some inspiration from in the process!
