Eliot Mahlase

Eliot is an all-round journalist, having covered a wide variety of stories from hard news, and court reporting to sports. In his nine years as a journalist, Eliot has written stories of national importance such as the Oscar Pistorius trial. He worked as an intern at IOL before moving to Caxton in 2014 where he kicked off his career as an online journalist. As a sports writer, he has interviewed popular sports stars such as Lungi Ngidi, Ab de Villiers and international WWE superstars. Eliot is a Varsity College graduate and a big fan of the Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun.
