After two years of fighting through the courts, former Real Housewives of Johannesburg star, singer and businesswoman Christall Kay has finally got her Kyalami mansion back.

HOW CHRISTALL KAY LIST HER HOUSE

In 2017, Kay’s house was listed on Property24 for R18, 5 million but she ended up selling it for much less three years later when Bubu put down a R5 million deposit on Kay’s mansion and moved in. Bubu was given time to pay R3 million more, but the reality TV star said she did not get the remainder from her.

“I gave her notice of cancellation in terms of the contract when no payment was forthcoming. She had already been given a 3-month extension. She didn’t pay an instalment and tried to pay the last amounts through a bond.”

However, Kay said that they did not have a bond agreement, but a cash agreement.

According to Kay, Bubu then applied to the High Court to have the sale cancellation declared invalid, however, the court ruled against her.

Following the court ruling, Kay was ready to move back into her house but Bubu noted an appeal which prevented the media personality from doing so.

At the time, Kay was paying for her own rent as well as bond costs, rates and levies on the property Bubu occupied.
