Faf is married to pharmacist Mine de Klerk, who gave birth to their first child on 27 February. Handre Pollard and his wife Marise are expecting the arrival of their baby boy in April.
THE PROUD PARENTS
The proud parents met through mutual friends in Hermanus in December 2015. Miné later invited Faf to a friend’s wedding. Faf moved to Manchester in 2017 while Miné was working at her father’s pharmacy in Postmasburg, Northern Cape. However the distance, and COVID-19 lockdown became too much for the pair who decided to then just be friends.
The Springboks scrumhalf and Miné got back together in 2021 and Faf proposed in May 2022. The pair tied the knot at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek in October 2022.
