American actor and media personality Keke Palmer has opened up about her toxic relationship with her son’ s father.
American actress and media personality Keke Palmer has opened up about her tumultuous relationship with the father of her child and ex-partner Darius Jackson.

On Tuesday, the 28 November, in a new podcast episode Keke candidly opens up about how her upbringing led to a “rude awakening” when she started dating.
In conversation with her mom, Sharon Palmer who is a co-host on the media personality’s podcast, Keke Palmer admittedly noted that she thought all men would be respectful toward women.
The actor made this observation because she grew up in a household where her father always respected and appreciated her mother, Sharon.
She also noted how misogyny within her relationship, came unexpectedly.
“So misogyny came at me hard and quick, with the quickness”, Keke Palmer noted.

“I grew up in a house where my mom would say, ‘This is what it needs to be.’ And [my father] Larry would be like, ‘OK, Sharon. Go on ahead, Sharon’”.
Keke Palmer continued: “So, for me, when I entered outside of my household and I saw that everybody doesn’t really respect their wives or even women in the way that my dad respects my mom, it [was] a pretty rude awakening”.
In the podcast episode Keke also spoke about being in an ‘intimate scenario with someone’ and not feeling seen or appreciated.
Earlier this month Keke was granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson. The actor was allegedly assaulted both physically and verbally in front of their 9-month-old son, Leodis.
Keke Palmer was also granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of Leo with no visitation for Jackson.
