Celebrity chef Fehmida Osman-Latibpopularly known as Chef Fehmz, opened up about the new cooking show she’s starring on titled Ready Steady Cook South Africa in an exclusive interview with SApeople

CHEF FEHMZ BRINGS THE PERSONALITY TO ‘READY STEADY COOK SOUTH AFRICA’

SAPeople visited the Ready Steady Cook South Africa set at Primedia Studios in Sandton on Thursday, 14 March where we got to watch Chef Fehmz live in action.

Chef Fehmz is one of 10 celebrity chefs starring on the show, who will assist contestants in preparing three dishes from random ingredients within 20 minutes!

There are two teams – the Red Tomato and Green Pepper – which each include a contestant and celebrity chef.

In an exclusive interview with SAPeople, Chef Fehmz revealed that the show tested her limits as an Instagram chef.

SAPeople was present at the shooting of one of the upcoming episodes of the show where Chef Fehmz was in the spotlight, and we can confirm – she brings the personality to the show, only matched by host Moshe Ndiki.

She also expressed that she has learnt how much she can achieve in a limited amount of time.

“As an Instagram cook who loves sharing quick and easy meals, this show really tested my limits and taught me how much I can actually achieve in very little time, all while competing against the clock, against professional chefs, working with contestants to help bring three dishes to the table every time. It’s been laughs, tears, sprinting, spills, burnt bread and tasty meals all wrapped up in 20 minutes. So are you going to be rooting for the Red Tomatoes or the Green Peppers?” she said in the interview.

“You simply have to tune in, it’s all food, fun, laughs and just 20 minutes to cook in, the Ready Steady Cook South Africa family will have you in stitches! You will be inspired by chefs and contestants bringing together tasty dishes in very little time,” she continued.
