Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka split after 7 years
Legendary singer and performer Mariah Carey and her boyfriend of seven years, Bryan Tanaka have reportedly broken up.
Mariah Carey and her longtime partner Bryan Tanaka have reportedly called it quits because he wanted to have children.

MARIAH CAREY AND BRYAN TANAKA HAVE BROKEN UP
According to Page Six, a source told the media publication that Bryan Tanaka who is now 40-years-old reportedly broke up with the singer because he wanted to have children. The source also noted that despite Bryan’s desire to have a child, Mariah Carey isn’t looking to have more children.

“He wants to have a family. That’s not where she is at”, the source shared.
Mariah Carey shares 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon. Tanaka, on the other hand, does not have children of his own.

‘HE WANTS TO START HAVING HIS OWN LIFE’
In the beginning of November, the professional dancer was missing from her Merry Christmas One and All! tour at the Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California. This led man fans to thinking that the couple may have broken up.

Bryan Tanaka has worked as a dancer with Carey since 2006. They two started dating in 2016.
“He wants to start having his own life”, another source told Page Six of the couple’s split.
Bryan was also missing from the singer’s holiday getaway this past week. Mariah Carey and her family were spotted in snowy Aspen celebrating the holidays.
Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka were last publicly seen spending time together in March of this year when the legendary singer celebrated her birthday. Tanak’s absence from her absence only further fuelled the break-up rumours.
Tanaka shared a photo of himself and Carey smiling and embracing one another on Instagram and shared a sweet message in the caption.
“This is one of my favourite pictures. Ever. Happy Anniversary my Beautiful Queen, Bryan noted.
