DELTA FLIGHT DRAMA

Passengers on a Delta Air Lines flight were treated to a, some might say, “cringey” scene after a flight attendant reprimanded Grammy-nominated gospel singer, Bobbi Storm, for not following flight etiquette during the flight.

As reported by IOL, Storm took to her Instagram account with a video recording of the incident, which showed the male flight attendant and Storm having an interaction in the aisle of the plane where she had attempted to sing to the passengers.

After being told to ‘Sit down and be quiet’ by the flight attendant, the singer heads to her seat but continues to address the passengers around her, saying:

“So, watch me bless Him. So, I used to sing on planes a very long time ago. I just found out I’m up for two Grammys. My very first time, you guys. My name is Bobbi Storm and I’m up for two Grammys.”

The flight attendant is then seen approaching her again to ask if she would be able to be quiet. The interaction continued, with the man asking her to follow his instructions.

Despite being reprimanded, the Grammy-nominated artist then proceeds to sing to the passengers on the flight, completely disobeying the flight attendant’s instructions.

SOCIAL MEDIA USERS WEIGH IN

Instagram-users quickly jumped onto the platform to comment on the video, with some saying the flight attendant was wrong, and others saying the singer was actually very ‘rude and entitled’.

bravostalking said: “This is one of the most egotistical things I’ve ever seen. You think because you’re Grammy nominated that rules don’t apply to you and the plane is your stage? Work on that ego sis”.

notcapnamerica added: “You were completely in the wrong, and I hope you ended up on the no fly list”.

While thickcarmelkiss pointed out: “Next time you should get yourself a private jet, so you can sing to yourself as loud as you want! But this right here is a public plane, and you wanting to disturb folks peace, with your nonsense is very selfish”.
