Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake open bar in St Andrews

Golf legend Tiger Woods and Hollywood star Justin Timberlake have partnered to open a sports bar in the historic town of St Andrews.

Golf legend Tiger Woods and Hollywood star Justin Timberlake have partnered to open a sports bar in the historic town of St Andrews.

The bar, called T-Squared Social, is set to feature “state-of-the-art full swing simulators for golf and other interactive gameplay, duckpin bowling, darts, and premium sports-watching with large format televisions,” according to a statement.

The bar is the second location from Woods and Timberlake, who last month opened a gleaming flagship T-Squared Social in Midtown Manhattan.

Tiger Woods – who recently generated a bit of buzz on social media when he played a nine-hole course with his son Charlie – always enjoys returning to “special” St Andrews, where he won The Open in 2000 and 2005.

“I have been fortunate enough to enjoy many special moments here at St Andrews,” he said, as per Golf Monthly.
“We all wanted to bring our T-Squared Social concept here to add to the local community and be a welcoming place for those living in St Andrews and for visitors alike.”

Meanwhile, Timberlake, who has featured in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews before, hailed the venue’s entertainment value.

“I’ve come to St Andrews many times to play golf,” he said.

“I’m honoured to be able to invest in the town and bring our second T-Squared Social here.

“Our new venue is so much more than a typical sports bar experience – it’s a place you can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort.”
