Orlando Pirates have confirmed that Vincent Pule’s contract has been extended at the club.

Pule has made 135 appearances for the club since joining them from Bidvest Wits in 2018.

The tricky winger has scored 31 goals while registering 11 more assists.

Last season, Pule made just seven starts for Orlando Pirates and many believed his time was up at the club.

The Buccaneers however have opted against releasing their winger, and instead have extended his contract at the club!

ORLANDO PIRATES EXTEND VINCENT PULE’S CONTRACT!

“Orlando Pirates Football Club can announce that Vincent Pule has signed a new contract extension with the Club, penning a deal that will see the 31-year-old remain at the club until 2025 (2026 should the club exercise its option).” a club statement read.

“Pule, who has made 135 appearances for the Buccaneers, netting 31 goals and 11 assists, is currently in Rustenburg with the rest of the squad as they prepare for the start of the 2023/24 campaign. His 2022/23 season was plagued by injury, limiting him to only 19 appearances, netting two goals.”

In other news, Orlando Pirates are set to jet out to Spain for their upcoming pre-season camp.

The Buccaneers reported for duty last week at the High-Performance Centre in Tshwane. The players were medically assessed and next travel to Rustenburg where physical training begins!

José Riveiro and his squad will be based in Marabella from July 9 to July 21, 2023 for their pre-season camp.

In Spain, Orlando Pirates will face Maccabi Tel Aviv, Ecuador’s Independiente del Valle and local Spanish second tier side UD Las Palmas.

Other teams that will be camped in Marbella include Bournemouth, Charlton Athletic, Al Ain FC, Espanyol, Chelsea’s under-18s and more!
