Pringles aren’t known for roaring with flavour, but this might be the thinking with some of these incredibly strange tastes that have been released by the company over the years. Wouldn’t you love some pecan pie chips, or what about some salt & seaweed?

PRINGLES: SOFT SHELL CRAB

Soft shell crab is a traditional dish in many areas where crabs are plentiful, although most people don’t imagine that Pringles should taste like the food type. If you really love soft shell crab, though, this might be perfect for you.

Seafood lovers rejoice… If you’re into that.

Soft Shell Crab-flavoured Pringles can be found on the website Taquitos.

PECAN PIE

Pecan Pie is associated with the holidays and a sugar rush, but at some point Pringles thought it would be a great idea to make their crisps this flavour.

As reported by Consumerist, the chip has been available since about 2013.

Some netizens have gotten creative and crumbed their pies with the chip. Other reviews weren’t as kind, and wanted to know what’s up with the sudden appearance of dessert-flavoured chips.

At least one review said that this type of Pringles tasted more like French Toast.

PRINGLES: PRAWNS

If regular salt-flavoured chips aren’t enough for your exotic tastes, try Pringles with prawns.

No kidding: prawn cocktail Pringles are also sold on the Pringles UK website. So far this isn’t one of the top-three Pringles flavours in South Africa.

PRINGLES: SALT & SEAWEED

Pringles also makes a Salt & Seaweed flavour, if you know what nori means and you’re into this – but not so ‘into this’ that you’d like these to be sushi flavoured crisps instead.

Believe it or not, you can buy these directly on their website.
