The 2024 elections might spring a few surprises according to a new voters’ interest survey which shows that desperate South Africans want new options to vote, that exclude both the African National Congress (ANC) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). The survey’s results, as reported by the Daily Maverick, show that people are desperate for change, but no party is mobilising their imagination. The voters’ interest survey also shows that people the Multiparty Charter (MPC), an 11-party agreement to form a coalition after the election, to unseat the ANC from power and keep the EFF away from power and dominance.
