Afrikaner ‘refugee’ family launches GoFundMe: ‘Facing a new struggle’
Afrikaner ‘refugee’ Errol Langton, who works at a car wash in the US, has launched a GoFundMe to support his family following a recent setback…

Afrikaner “refugee” Errol Langton has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $50,000 (over R800,000) for his wife’s cancer treatment.
The South African IT businessman and part-time farmer now works in the US as a car wash supervisor.
Errol and his family were among the first white South Africans to arrive in the US under President Donald Trump’s refugee programme, which Trump said aimed to help the racial minority, whom he described as victims of “racial discrimination” and “white genocide.”

In a GoFundMe post earlier this month, Errol Langton asked the public to help cover his wife Jacqueline’s cervical cancer treatment.
He aims to raise $50,000, roughly R870,000.
Langton, who previously ran his own IT business in South Africa, said his wife’s health condition will require him to work fewer hours at his current job as a car wash supervisor.
He shared: “Our family recently immigrated to the USA from South Africa as refugees. Starting over has been both humbling and exhausting, and we’ve poured everything into building a new life.
He added: “We’ve survived threats and attacks in South Africa and rebuilt from scratch here in the USA. We’ve worked hard not to lean on others since arriving on May 12th, but this diagnosis has shaken us. The irony isn’t lost on us: after surviving so much, we now face a new battle—not just against cancer, but against the crushing financial strain it brings”.
To date, the campaign has raised $50.
