One of the men accused in the ongoing murder case of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane recently claimed that his family is being targeted by police, ECR reported.

SUSPECT IN THE AKA MURDER CASE FEARS FOR FAMILY’S SAFETY

Suspect number four in the murder case of AKA and Tibz, Lindani Ndimande (35) made his appearance at the Durban Magistrates Court on Monday, 18 March.

He appeared alongside four of the other accused, Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi (35), Siyanda Eddie Myeza (21), Mziwethemba Harvey Gwabeni (36), and Lindokuhle “Lindo” Ndimande (29).

According to the publication, while making his application for bail, Lindani claimed his family was being targeted by the National Intervention Unit (NIU), under the instruction of police management.

Through the affidavit, he is said to have accused the police unit of killing six of his siblings. Meanwhile, two of his other brothers are said to be the two men waiting to be extradited from eSwatini. The duo reportedly fled to the country to seek refuge from the NIU.

Lindani also revealed that his family is well-known in the taxi industry, EWN reported. According to the publication, he also shared that he also deals with taxis. Furthermore, he reportedly claimed that he owns four minibus taxis and rakes up about a whopping quarter of a million rand per month.

Previously, there were questions regarding how the suspects are affording the expensive lawyers that are representing them.
