‘Come and get me’: Kelly Khumalo issues warning to Advocate Teffo
Kelly Khumalo has issued a strong warning to Advocate Teffo, who has accused her of involvement in the death of the late Senzo Meyiwa…

Kelly Khumalo has warned Advocate Malesela Teffo not to mention her name during his appearance on the Podcast and Chill. The singer and traditional healer has been linked to the death of her boyfriend, the late soccer star Senzo Meyiwa.
Gunmen killed the former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper on 26 October 2014 while he was visiting Kelly’s mother’s home in Vosloorus. Five men are currently on trial for the high-profile murder, a case that has dragged on for years.
In 2002, Teffo was struck off the roll after being found guilty of misconduct.
KELLY KHUMALO SLAMS ADVOCATE TEFFO
In an Instagram video, Kelly Khumalo directly warns Advocate Teffo, who has repeatedly accused her of involvement in Senzo Meyiwa’s death.
Addressing the outspoken former lawyer, she says, “Enough is enough. It stops here and it stops today. I’m done being diplomatic, releasing press statements, or wasting money on lawyers to speak for me.”
“If you strongly believe that I am capable of what you accuse me of, it’s very simple: come get me. I’m not above the law”.
She added, “I’ve had enough of you people dragging my name through the mud. Till then, back off.”
Kelly Khumalo captioned the clip: “From being dragged in that dirty court to sketchy podcasts? You never cease to amaze me.”
WHAT DID HE SAY?
On Thursday, 17 July, Advocate Teffo appeared in a tell-all interview on Podcast and Chill.
In it, he shared his theories on Senzo Meyiwa’s death and high-profile trial.
According to Teffo, Senzo died from a bullet, accidentally fired by Kelly Khumalo during a heated argument. At the time, Kelly allegedly confronted the footballer over her suspicions that he was having an affair with her sister Zandie Khumalo, who was dating Longwe Twala.
He said: “I long state further under oath… it was a fatal mistake, Kelly Kumala shot and killed Senzo instantly.”
However, Teffo – who defended four of the five men accused – bizarrely added that Senzo Meyiwa’s death was a “sacrifice”
Teffo – a former police officer – then went on a wild rant, accusing high-ranking police of running a criminal syndicate, involving ministers and national commissioners. He also touched on his imprisonment for the assault of a female police officer and being bribed to drop out of the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
