CITY POWER APOLOGISES TO JOHANNESBURG RESIDENTS FOR INCONVENIENCE CAUSED

“City Power apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by this interruption,” said the utility.

The utility faces ongoing challenges with power outages attributed to its aging and damaged infrastructure struggling to meet the increasing demand. Despite these hurdles, City Power remains resolute in its efforts to alleviate the impact of power outages on residents.

TOLL-FREE LINE LAUNCHED FOR REPORTING POWER OUTAGES

Furthermore, in a bid to streamline the process of reporting lengthy power outages and supply interruptions, TimesLIVE reported, City Power has launched a dedicated toll-free line.

This initiative aims to expedite responses to individual calls exceeding 24 hours. Isaac Mangena, a representative of the entity, highlighted its focus on addressing area-wide outages surpassing four hours.

PROACTIVE MEASURES IMPLEMENTED TO ENHANCE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AMID INFRASTRUCTURE CHALLENGES

Additionally, this proactive approach underscores City Power’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and addressing the challenges posed by infrastructure limitations.

Moreover, City Power prioritises maintenance. It implements efficient communication channels to minimise disruptions and ensure reliable electricity supply to residents of Johannesburg.
