One Cape Town driver can thank their lucky stars after reportedly walking away unscathed from an horrific-looking incident in peak traffic on Monday, 19 June.

As reported by the 1Second Facebook page, the M3 Southbound was closed at UCT mid-morning after a tree landed on the windscreen and bonnet of a bakkie.

They don’t call it the Cape of Storms for nothing!

According to reports, the driver and a passenger suffered only minor injuries.
