In an explosive twist, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, through her legal representatives, has penned a letter alleging abuse by influential South African families.

Magudumana faces charges including fraud, corruption, arson, and aiding a prisoner’s escape, involving Thabo Bester, a convicted rapist and murderer.

Magudumana promised to reveal some of these instances, and she also intends to highlight the violation of women inmates’ rights at the correctional facility.

Magudumana acknowledged awareness of multiple filming projects depicting her life. She cautioned that without her or her legal team’s input, these stories lack credibility.

She revealed granting exclusive rights to a South African, black woman-owned production company. The legal team at this stage is finalising the details.

TURNING HER “THUGGERY” INTO WOMEN’S ISSUES

Reactions from all social media platforms have been pouring in since the explosive allegations from Dr Nandipha. One such comment from an X user said, “So she’s now making her thuggery about ‘women’s issues’.”

“So quick to run to human rights, don’t people forfeit such rights when they are found to have acted inhumanly, broken laws, and engaged in criminal activities? She should be talking about prison or prisoner rights, if there are such things, and not human rights,” said another user.

“I refuse to believe that the ‘media’ statement I’m seeing doing the rounds from Dr Nandipha Magudumane is real. It can’t be, what in the circus is that?” said another user.

TWEEPS QUESTION WHETHER THE DOCTOR PUTS HER CHILDREN FIRST

“To my wonderful kids, I long to see you and love you deeply. I’m giving my all to reunite. We’ll meet soon.” Dr Nandipha added towards the end of the statement, “She misses her children too.”

“Chose a man that ticks most if not all the risk boxes, not that it justifies the violation allegations but what did you expect? Now you miss your kids, surely you should’ve put them first,” said another user.

“My problem with the Dr Nandipha from start to finish is that her babies are not the beginning of her statements. They are babies still and she has all sorts to say and doesn’t start with her babies,” said another user.

The case against Dr Nandipha, Thabo Bester and the other accused has been postponed to 11 October for further investigation.
