Following the news that Orlando Pirates are planning to release midfielder Goodman Mosele, the Ghost fans are divided, saying Pirates are opening up a space for Bathusi Aubaas.

The South African reported that Mosele is set to go on loan as Pirates deem his surplus to requirements, and the fans have made their call, they want Aubaas.

Looking at social media reactions, a number of Pirates fans have made it clear that they want to club to sign Aubaas to replace Mosele but he is currently contracted to TS Galaxy.

PIRATES TO LOAN OUT MOSELE, FANS WANT AUBAAS

Per the SABC, the public broadcaster posted that coach Jose Riveiro and his technical team are readying a loan deal, with Chippa United as Mosele’s most likely destination.

“Orlando Pirates are set to send midfielder Goodman Mosele on loan for the duration of the 2023/24 season, SABC Sport has established,” SABC Sport reported.

“In an attempt to get his career back on track with regular minutes, the midfielder is set to be loaned out and Chippa United are the likely destination – this move will depend on the agreement between the two sides.”

For now, it remains to be seen if the talented midfielder, Mosele will eventually leave the Soweto giants to join the Chilli Boys.

BUCS FANS CALL FOR AUBAAS TO REPLACE THE MIDFIELDER

Taking a glance at the social media reactions from the Buccaneers family, many fans feel the club’s reported decision will benefit the 23-year-old.

Having struggled for game time since joining Pirates from Baroka in 2021, Mosele competed with the likes of Thabang Monare, Makhehlene Makhaula, and Ben Motshwari for a spot in the heart of the park.
