The fastest Springboks rugby player is certainly not who you think he is. We reveal how quickly he can run 100m too!

Many would have predicted Cheslin Kolbe or Makazole Mapimpi as the fastest Springboks.

However, it is actually Sbu Nkosi. Although, Kolbe is the fastest player in the current squad with Nkosi having dealt with off-field issues for the majority of the season.

SPRINGBOKS SPEEDSTERS CLOCK INSANE 100M TIMES

Nkosi clocked an insane 10.59 seconds over 100m.

Furthermore, Kolbe ran the same distance in a blistering 10.70 seconds.

Therefore, edging Nkosi edged out Kolbe to the honour of fastest recent Springboks player (over the last 5 years).

Both times were reported on SARugbyMag in 2021 with no quicker speed recorded since then.
