Three more Durban beaches shut down: Here is where and why
The eThekwini Municipality has provided an update on Durban’s beach access, announcing the closure of three additional beaches to swimmers.

The eThekwini Municipality has once again updated the public on which Durban beaches and pools are safe and open for swimming.
As of 26 June, the municipality closed three more Durban beaches for swimming due to poor water quality, adding to the previously closed Anstey’s Beach. The currently closed Durban beaches are:
- ANSTEY’S BEACH
- REUNION

- BRONZE BEACH
“This status of beaches and pools will be updated as and when their status changes. You can still enjoy other recreational activities at closed beaches. You just can’t swim.” the municipality said.
