Tshwane 11 hours power outage to last until FRIDAY

City of Tshwane warned that Soshanguve residents will experience a power supply interruption for 11 hours daily until FRIDAY.

The City of Tshwane will daily disrupt power in Soshanguve from today, 6 December, 2023, to Friday, 8 December, 2023, for the construction of the Apollo-Dinaledi 400 KV line.

The city received a request from Eskom to reschedule the power supply interruption dates from December 4–7 to December 6–8.

“Soshanguve residents will experience a power supply interruption for 11 hours daily for until Friday, 8 December.”

TSHWANE POWER OUTAGE MOVED UNTIL FRIDAY

The outage, initially set to conclude tomorrow, has been prolonged until Friday for long-term improvements in power infrastructure, ensuring benefits for all.

Residents in the area are urged to take note of a rescheduled power interruption scheduled for interruption, spanning from 6:00 to 17:00.

This temporary service disruption is imperative to facilitate crucial construction work on the 400 kV line.

The affected areas, encompassing of Block L and M extension, Block DD,BB,LL,JJ,NN,FF,HH,IA,PP,Winterveld Ext 3 and Tswaing Orange Farm.Block K, K extension,M,H,H extension, and F West. Block CC, F East, AA and G, Block KK,SS1,S,R,T,V,X and W.

Block T, T extension, V and V extension, Block P, SS5, MM, P extension, Y, Y extension and X.

CITY OF TSHWANE APOLOGISES FOR INCONVENIENCE CAUSED

City of Tshwane acknowledges the potential inconvenience caused by this interruption. It also apologises for any disruptions.
