AmaZulu part ways with former Kaizer Chiefs defender

Mabiliso rejoined AmaZulu from Kaizer Chiefs in the 2022/2023 season but struggled for game time and ultimately had to be released.

AmaZulu have agreed to part ways with former Kaizer Chiefs defender Sibusiso Mabiliso

The 24-year-old only managed to make two appearances for the club this season.

Both parties decided to part ways on a mutual agreement to afford the player game time elsewhere for the remainder of the season the 2023/24 season.

EX-CHIEFS STAR LEAVES AMAZULU AFTER TWO SEASONS

Mabiliso took the opportunity to extend his appreciation to various stakeholders who played a significant role in his journey with AmaZulu.

“I would like to thank AmaZulu FC President, the Management, my teammates, the coaching staff, and the supporters for welcoming me back with open arms at Usuthu. I am very grateful for everything and the experience. I wish the team all the best for the remainder of the season,” said Mabiliso.

Mabiliso made 91 appearances for Usuthu, making four assists and scoring one goal. He joined the club in 2018 and left in 2021 to join Kaizer Chiefs.

He rejoined AmaZulu a season later in the 2022/2023 season.
