FORMER KAIZER CHIEFS DEFENDER MAKING BIG MONEY ABROAD

Following the public release of player earning in the American Major Soccer League, the 27-year-old Hadebe’s wages caught our attention.

According to the report, as shared by iDiskiTimes’ Lorenz Kohler, Hadebe is on R2.1 million per month at Houston Dynamo.

“Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe earns $1,122,900 (R21.7 million) in base salary and $1,288,077 (R24.9 million) in guaranteed compensation per annum at Houston Dynamo,” the report said.

“His monthly salary calculates to a massive R2.1 million.

“The 27-year-old defender has made eight appearances this season, and his contract still runs until December 2023, with the club having a one-year option.”

SUPPORT FOR ARTHUR ZWANE

Staying with Chiefs, an Amakhosi official has confirmed the club’s stance on Arthur Zwane amid boiling pressure to fire the club legend.

Speaking to the media after last weekend’s 1-0 loss to SuperSport that marked a record 11 defeats in a single season, the long-serving Media Officer Vina Maphosa revealed that Zwane is going nowhere.

“As things stand, Arthur Zwane remains coach of Kaizer Chiefs,” Maphosa told Radio 2000‘s Thabiso Mosia on Monday evening.

“We’re not even at this stage contemplating changing.

“There is a lot of investment in what we’re trying to do, and part of that investment is on coach Arthur Zwane himself.

“Also, just to mention that coach Arthur Zwane is not isolated in this discussion, we as a club we are one in this matter, we talk with one voice.

“We’re not here to protect the coach, the coach is doing his job, he’s contracted to the club and he was appointed for a particular reason.
“In no time, the supporters will see exactly what we’re intend to do. I can confirm as well as they very soon we’ll be back to the glory days,”
