A former Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows defender has landed a new club in Sweden to continue his development as a player.

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Yagan Sasman has been praised after completing a move to Swedish club Eskilstuna.

EX-KAIZER CHIEFS MAN MOVES TO SWEDEN

27-year-old Yagan Sasman left Swallows at the end of last season after two years at the Soweto club where he was a regular after his arrival from local rivals Chiefs. After 51 appearances and three goals, the centre-back has moved on to the Swedish second tier to continue the next stage of his career, according to iDiski Times.

“Yagan Sasman is good at reading the game,” the club’s CEO Mikael Larsson said about youth product Ajax Cape Town (Cape Town Spurs). He has great timing in his tackles and is good in the air. He is an experienced player with a lot of playing time at a high level.”

Sasman joins former teammate Tashreeq Matthews in Sweden who’s currently starring in the Allsvenskan (Sweden’s top tier) with IK Sirius.
