GAVIN HUNT STILL INTERESTED IN THE BAFANA JOB

Definitely. I had three interviews and all three questions were about how are you going to handle agents and media but not one question about how we are going to play. It baffled me so….the greatest coach we had was Clive Barker. Clive was clever, he knew how to put a team together and the most important thing as a national team coach is that you need to know how to put a team together because you’re not a coach Peter, you are a selector,” Hunt said.

“Well people say Gavin Hunt doesn’t like small players, and then they say ‘look, Messi is small’ but Messi is strong my friend, and quick. If you are small, you need to be fast. We need a bit of size, we need a bit of power and strength. The game is about power now and that Bafana team had all these attributes,” Hunt said.

The SuperSport United said he still has the desire to coach the national team.
