South Africans will be able to watch the Springboks at the 2023 Rugby World Cup after it was confirmed that the national broadcaster (SABC) has struck a deal with MultiChoice.

SuperSport will still have exclusive broadcasting rights for the entire tournament in South Africa, but SABC will show all Springbok matches, including if they reach the knockout stages.

It will come as a relief to the South African public who will now be able to follow the progress of Siya Kolisi and his team as they look to defend the Webb Ellis Cup they won four years ago in Japan.

The SABC said they were able to secure the rights with the help of broadcast partners Hollywoodbets, South African Breweries and the Castle Lager Brand.
