SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt says he’s not too focused on DStv Premiership log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns despite his team closing the gap.

Matsatsantsa are now just two points behind their Tshwane rivals although they have played two game more.

Earlier this season, Hunt said his squad was not good enough to compete in the league and CAF Confederations Cup. He dared to run naked in the streets should United get to 60 points.

So far, SuperSport are on the right track to reach the magical figure. They managed to collect 22 points in 10 games and should they continue to their current form, Hunt might have to honour his promise before the end of the season next year.

“You don’t worry about that (league position), with what we’ve got and what we are achieving is good but we are limping,” Hunt said as per Citizen.

“We have so many players out and again we have lost three left-backs now. I enjoyed the result because it is away from home but I didn’t enjoy the performance because it’s unlike us to concede goals like that,” Hunt added.
