Despite previous interest from Yanga before Chivaviro’s signing with Amakhosi, reports suggest the Tanzanian giants are keen on proposing a loan deal.

Chivaviro’s agent, Herve Tra Bi, acknowledged the interest but emphasised the striker’s commitment to his two-year deal with Chiefs, according to FARPost

With 17 goals in the previous season, including an impressive CAF Confederation Cup run, Chivaviro’s future remains a topic of intrigue.

CONNECTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES AT KAIZER CHIEFS:

Yanga President Hersi Said’s recent appointment as President of the African Club Association (ACA) adds an interesting layer to the story.

Alongside him, Jessica Motaung, Amakhosi’s Marketing and Commercial Director, is voted as one of the vice-presidents, emphasizing a unique connection between Yanga and Chiefs’ leadership.

Chivaviro’s exposure in the CAF Confederation Cup has not only attracted Yanga but also raised the possibility of enticing offers from bigger clubs.

Yanga’s involvement in the CAF Champions League group stages, alongside football powerhouses like Al Ahly, could provide Chivaviro with a platform to showcase his talents on a continental stage.

COMPARING PRESSURES:

Yanga’s success in Tanzania brings a different kind of pressure, one that players reportedly enjoy. In contrast, Amakhosi’s nine-year trophy drought intensifies the pressure on players, creating a unique dynamic that Chivaviro may need to navigate.

Chivaviro’s slow start at Chiefs, scoring only one goal in 10 appearances, raises questions about adapting to the team.

The possibility of a loan move might offer the striker a chance to rediscover his form and contribute effectively.

KHUNE’S DISCIPLINARY ISSUES:

Shifting the spotlight to the goalkeeping front, former Bafana Bafana goalkeeping coach Alex Heredia commented on the recent reports surrounding Itumeleng Khune.

Allegations of arriving at work under the influence of alcohol have surfaced, prompting Heredia to express concern about Khune’s performance and overall conduct.

Heredia acknowledged Khune’s iconic status but suggests that the goalkeeper needs to evaluate his commitment to the game, especially given the team’s recent struggles.

While respecting Khune’s professionalism, Heredia emphasised the importance of being on the inside to fully understand the situation.

The potential impact of disciplinary issues on Khune’s football career is a matter of consideration, with Heredia expressing empathy if the goalkeeper chooses a path that could adversely affect his quality on the field.
